Ya’ll know I make caprese bites alllll the time (how I make them HERE). But today I went to a whole new level, and even added some carbs hehe. It was so worth it! I’ve been making these on repeat for the past few days, and even my husband (who HATES raw tomatoes) likes them.
They’re incredibly filling. I look at them and every time think I can eat four, but after two I’m stuffed. These are also great if you’re pregnant or hypoglycemic (ps I’m NOT a doctor lol ) for those moments when out of no where I need some food, I need it substantial, and I need it quick!
The process is fairly simple, and you can adjust it as you like, we even add smoked salmon & cream cheese in place of the mozzarella. Here ya go.
:: INGREDIENTS NEEDED ::
Artisan bread (toasted/broiled)
top with balsamic glaze (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste (Optional)
You literally stack all the ingredients in that order, simple right? This is a recipe that changes depending on your specific taste, so that’s why I don’t have any measurements…it’s just how much of each ingredient you want, so go crazy, get creative and ENJOY!
