It’s been a month since we went on our Jackson Hole trip, but considering everything that’s happened over the past few weeks, misplacing my SD card, computer breaking, and going through a Hurricane…I feel no guilt whatsoever 😀 But now here we are!
The girls are down for the night, me and Daniel are watching Big Brother (yes i know..our guilty pleasure) and eating sardines and crackers. lol, super random and maybe gross to some? but whatever, sardines=healthy skin, so HA!
Life has been so fantastic lately. We’ve been trying to serve in any way that we can, since the hurricane there is lots to be done, and lots of people to help. Poor Daniel has to get up at 5:30 to drive 2 hours to gut houses. then the same thing on Sunday…I really wanted to go because last week was so much fun working beside him, but baby girl can’t have me gone for that long. So instead I’ll be helping with things closer to home.
So about JACKSON, it was sooo much fun. We stopped at a place called ‘Mormon Row’ where Mormon Pioneers who settled that part of Wyoming lived. It was so beautiful. I just love old houses. We had our entire family photos there, and we had them professionally done by lucky coincidence. We were trying to figure out how to best take them, tripod, or have my aunt take them, when along comes this guy and offers to take it for us. He had just finished up a bridal shoot, and he had a much better lense with him and used it on my camera for our photos. He was so chill and hilarious! Then afterwards me and my sisters took turns photographing each other. Daniel made the funniest comment. That with his family everyone is anxious to get in and get out when it comes to family photos. They don’t want to spend a second more than they have to. With mine it’s a constant
“my turn” “take mine here…now over here” “Now I’ll take yours”
What can I say, we were raised by a theater man and we love our picture taken. lol.
